Using the LightCheck, one person can check the lights out without having to plug in the tow vehicle. Just plug in the flashlight in the tow vehicle. Just plug in the flashlight sized LightCheck to the seven pin connector. Using the charged battery on the trailer or 5th wheel, the clearance lights illuminate and the signal and brake lights flash. It also energizes LED's. Simply plug the 7 pin electrical cord from the front of the rig into the LightCheck and the lights on the trailer will come on. The clearance lights will stay on. The signal lights and turn signals will flash so you can determine if everything is okay. LightCheck uses the charged trailer battery to energize the lights. The Safety Plug aspect of the LightCheck comes into play when the RV breaks down and needs to be left on the side of the road. Leaving a vehicle with no lights on is dangerous.
