Blow guns, also called air blow guns or pneumatic blow guns, attach to air lines and are used to manually discharge air for non-contact cleaning or drying purposes in laboratory or industrial applications. Most blow guns are made of metal components, but they are also available in all plastic or a combination of metal and plastic. They typically consist of an ergonomic grip or handle, a trigger, and a nozzle, also called a tip, through which compressed air is delivered. Many also come with extensions to increase the distance between the trigger mechanism and the nozzle.
