The Greenlee NC-500 NETcat Pro NC-500 Structured Wiring Troubleshooter has a touch screen display with contrast adjustment and a backlight. It includes the tests shielded twisted pair, unshielded twisted pair and the coaxial cables. It is capable of generating four distinct, precision tones for tracing low-loss cables like Cat 5 and it identifies active network devices on 10/100 Base-T networks. It also displays network device capabilities, detects shorts, opens, reversed, crossed and split pairs, troubleshoots and verifies a wide range of networks and operates on a single 9V battery. The pulsed time domain reflect meter shows the length of all the pairs and it is compatible with the Greenlee precision digital probes.
