• The lenses are made of quality highly transparent glass, which doesn't distort images. The optical surfaces are covered with several layers of anti-reflective coating, so the images are always clear and sharp. Three objectives included in the kit make it possible to get magnifications of 40x, 100x and 400x. To set desired magnification, just turn the revolving nosepiece.

• To illuminate observed samples, the microscope is equipped with two bright LED illumination systems. If you want to observe transparent samples such as prepared slides or aquarium water, use lower illumination. If you want to examine metal surfaces for a presence of microscopic scratches or study paper fibers, turn on the upper light. Semi-transparent samples can also be observed just keep both illuminations on. Brightness of both illuminations is adjustable you can find an illumination level that is ideal for any given sample.

• Made of quality plastic, the microscope's body is durable and lightweight. To prevent fatigue and discomfort during long observations, the microscope's head is inclined at 45°. The device can be plugged into an outlet for power supply; if there's no power or if you are outdoors, use batteries.

• The microscope's kit includes everything needed for a smooth and frustration-free introduction to the microworld. Supplied with the microscope, the Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit contains prepared microscope slides, tools for making your own slides, as well as detailed user guide that tells how the microscope works and how to carry out interesting experiments.
