This charger recharges ni-mh and ni-cd batteries, 2, 4, 6 and 8 pieces of aa or aaa batteries at a time. It has a battery type selector for ni-cd or ni-mh batteries in addition to automatic selection of charging current for size aa and aaa. The aaa 750 mah charging time is 10 hours and the aa 2250 mah charging time is 12 hours. It has an advanced charging circuit with protection when charging a mixed group of different sized batteries (aa and aaa). It has built-in ic timer control (12 hours). It has fast charging in the specified period and automatically switches to trickle charge mode. An led lamp indicates proper charging.
