Johnson was drafted by the Eagles fourth overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. Johnson and Chris Long wore an underdog mask after the 2017 Divisional playoff game versus the Atlanta Falcons as the Falcons were considered heavy favorites to win. Following the game Philadelphia Eagles fans bought so many dog masks from Amazon that they were sold out. The masks were also worn in the NFC Championship game versus the Minnesota Vikings.
