The PF-SWI-JACK retains factory steering wheel controls that are part of the factory radio, when replacing a stock radio with an Alpine, Clarion, JVC or Kenwood unit with the wired remote input option. PIEs steering wheel control interface works with most cars available today, even the ones built in the 80s, as well as with Harley Davidson motorcycles. In addition, it retains rear seat radio controls in most vehicles and keeps programmed memory even if the battery is disconnected. To retain steering wheel control features in vehicles with stock CAN-BUS radios, we offer additional modules: PF-SWI-CAN and PF-SWI-CAN2.
