The Libec ALX S12 is the perfect slider shooting with a smooth and delicate controllability. ALX S12 allows you to slide your camera on 2x 75mm or flat base tripods or on a tabletop. The sliding range is 43.5" and payload is 15kg / 33 lb. when used on a tabletop. This is achieved by the eight high-performance ball bearings applied with a special grease, which are installed in the slider platform. The ball bearings are positioned efficiently on the rail top and at an angle on both sides, hugging the rail to prevent wobbling during operation. The spring-equipped friction knob enables precise weight adjustment for a smooth sliding movement. The friction knob allows you to adjust sliding tension, and a brake knob sets the sliding rail in one place. Using the supplied hexagon wrench, pushing force of the ball bearing against the rail can be easily adjusted.
