The 1841 Compass 20 2-Stage Alloy System from Miller combines the versatile and lightweight Compass 20 Fluid Head and 2-stage Alloy Tripod with ground spreader. The system provides professional performance and extra stability for the latest generation of lightweight HDV/DVCAM/XDCAM/P2HD and DSLR cameras. Components of the 1841 Compass 20 2-Stage Alloy System include: Compass 20 Fluid Head (1036), 2-Stage 75mm Alloy Tripod (420), Aboveground Spreader (508), ENG/EFP Tripod Rubber Feet (550), Pan Handle with Handle Carrier (679), Tripod Shoulder Strap (554) and Softcase (876).With the Compass 20 Fluid Head you have an extremely durable and robust, silky-smooth 75mm fluid head suitable for camera payloads up to 12kg.

Constructed of lightweight, high-strength die-cast alloy and rigid composite polymers and featuring precision ball bearing supported pan and tilt movements. With an extended 5+0 position fluid drag system employing smooth start and soft stop technology and 4 counterbalance settings plus 60mm camera plate balance travel, the Compass 20 offers a fast reliable set-up you can trust and is versatile enough to use over a wide array of camera configurations. It is built to deliver consistent performance and drag resistance with no variation over a wide range of temperatures and environments.
