The recessed mount version (WFF series) mounts in the wall and its mounting flanges extend one-half inch beyond the edge of the back box on all four sides to provide a visually appealing trim ring effect to the finished wall. The surface mount version (WFS series) mounts on the wall and its mounting flanges are the same dimensions as the corresponding backbox. Whirlwind black powder coated backboxes for the surface mount versions are a finished look as opposed to a NEMA type electrical box.Frame finish is black powdercoat. Custom finishes upon request. Connector mounting insert panels attach to the frames and Can be custom punched, engraved and loaded to accommodate any installation requirement. Finish is black anodized aluminum. 12 frame with locking door is as recessed mount version only in 1 or 2.5 depths.
