The sonifex cm-lur1 passive balanced to unbalanced audio convertor connects a balanced stereo line input via rj45 using the studiohub pinout to an unbalanced stereo phono output. Transformer balanced with a 2:1 ratio you get an additional 6db of attenuation to help interfacing with pro and consumer devices. The cm-lur1 provides an alternative to specialized cables when interfacing a balanced output to an unbalanced input and is particularly useful where a shared balanced audio feed needs to be interfaced to an unbalanced input on one or more pieces of equipment, galvanically isolating the audio without compromising the feed.
