The Sonifex CM-ULX1 unbalanced to balanced audio convertor connects a balanced stereo line input on Phono Connectors using the StudioHub pinout to an XLR left and right output. Transformer balanced with a 2:1 ratio you get an additional 6DB of attenuation to help interfacing with pro and consumer devices. The CM-ULX1 provides an alternative to wiring an unbalanced output directly into a balanced input. Placing this box close to the unbalanced output, before the cable run to the balanced input, you reduce noise and interference.
