Adding a reflector to your studio light helps control the lighting angle and focus the light. The Fotodiox background Reflector is a sconce-shaped light modifier that outputs an oval, fan-like beam of light that is ideal for placing behind the subject for even lighting of the background. Alternately, you can place it closer to the background for a corona or graduated effect or backlight the subject to separate him or her from the background. The reflector is "sliced" at a 45° angle into a scoop shape that hides behind a portrait subject perfectly. You can use it 3.0 inches or 3.0 feet from the background for sharp or very gradual fall-off effects. The reflector has handy clips to attach gels and diffusion material. This reflector is specifically designed for use with strobe and monolight heads that use the Balcar type bayonet such as AlienBees, Einstein, White Lightning, LED-100WB and Flashpoint I lights.
